The Milwaukee Public Museum holds a diverse and comprehensive collection of insects from around the world. This expedition includes the specimens collected and donated by amatuer entomologist Roger Kuehn who, over 40 years, amassed and documented nearly 2,000 specimens throughout Wisconsin and beyond. Mostly butterflies and moths, this collection includes several threatened and endangered species collected at a time before their populations declined. Making the data from his outstanding efforts digitized and accessible will help his life's work contribute to protecting the species he loved.
